How much can I earn as a Relay Chef? +
Relay Chefs typically earn £500-£2000 per month. Part-time chefs (10-15 hours/week) earn £500-800, while full-time chefs (30-40 hours/week) can earn £1200-2000. You keep 86.1% of every sale.
What are the requirements to become a Relay Chef? +
You need: Food hygiene certificate (Level 2), home business registration, public liability insurance, clean kitchen setup, reliable transport, and passion for Indian cuisine. We provide full guidance during application.
What's included in the 13.9% platform fee? +
Your branded store page, professional email (@spicehub.food), secure hosting, SSL certificates, payment processing, analytics dashboard, marketing support, 24/7 technical support, and mobile optimization.
How do spice vendor payments work? +
We use secure escrow payments. Customer payments are held until delivery confirmation or postage proof is provided. Payments are then released to vendors within 24-48 hours. This ensures both customer and vendor protection.
Do I need a physical shop to become a vendor? +
No! You can operate from your warehouse or home. We provide everything you need: branded online store, payment processing, inventory management tools, and customer acquisition. Focus on quality products, we handle the rest.
How does the 45-minute delivery guarantee work? +
Our Relay Chefs serve customers within 1-mile radius only. This ensures fresh food can be delivered within 45 minutes from order confirmation. If delivery takes longer, you'll receive a credit for your next order.
What payment methods do you accept? +
We accept all major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cash on Delivery. All online payments are secured with SSL encryption.
Can I track my spice orders? +
Yes! All spice orders include tracking information. You'll receive email updates when your order is processed, shipped, and delivered. Most spice orders are shipped within 24 hours.
